Which choice will you least regret from the end of your life?
For the big forks, zoom out to the longest view: picture yourself old, looking back — which path would you regret *not* taking? Regret is usually about the chances not taken more than the failures survived, and the far horizon quiets the small fears that dominate up close. It’s finitude used as a compass: let the person at the end of the road advise the person standing at the fork.
