Water the plants

Parents should review this worksheet together before teaching the lesson. The first attempt may not go perfectly — that's okay. Every child is different, so adapt your approach to their needs and learning style until you're confident they understand; this is a guide, not a rigid manual. Afterward, use the worksheet to track your child's progress and your own consistency in following through. Consistency is key.

Print it and stick it on the counter. For each day of the two-week window, note how the day went on the "Day" line, then darken the day number in the child and grown-up sections to mark that you've stayed focused on the skill. (Tip: let the child add a sticker to make it more fun!)

Still not learned after two weeks? That's okay too. Print another worksheet and try again, or switch to a different skill and revisit this one later.
